Join the park naturalist for a spooky October night hike. We will be keeping an eye out for any critters that might come out in the moonlight. We will be walking parts of the Swamp Oak, Skyline, and Footbridge trails. It is an easy, fairly flat 1 mile loop hike. It could be muddy in some spots so please dress for the weather. ***Flashlights highly recommended***
Meeting place: Amphitheater in Modern Campground.
5,900-acre park on the 1,730-acre Foster Joseph Sayers Lake at the foot of Bald Eagle Mountain. Two campgrounds, beach, boat launches, and the LEED Gold Nature Inn. Best birding in the valley.
